Charities
For over 60 years Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table have been raising money for local charities as well as local individuals in need. We are very pleased to be able to consider a wide range of funding requests. Our main charity event is our fireworks display, however, we are involved in other activities to raise money to help Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding regions. Whilst Round Table is a lot of fun, raising money for local charities and doing what we can to help the local community is at the heart of what we do.

Fundraising Activities
During the past 60 years we have put on a fireworks display, which is the largest public event in Tunbridge Wells. Through the ticket sales, concessions, sponsorship, etc. we have been able to raise a significant amount. However, in addition we are always looking for alternative fundraising activities. We have also enjoyed playing a small part in other events hosted around Tunbridge Wells, as well as raising money directly for Children In Need each year. We are also doing a Santa Sleigh where we aim to collect either food donations for those in need, or monetary donations for other charities.
Charity giveaway
Each year we are very pleased to receive requests for donations from both local charities and individuals in need. We try to consider these throughout the year, but with the significant money we raise at the fireworks we have a larger giveaway in Spring, considering a larger number of requests and formally present the donations to the recipients. We are very pleased to have been able to help dozens of charities, such as Nourish, Mental Health Resource, Hospice in the Weald, Tunbridge Wells District Scouts, the Bridge Trust and many many more. We are also pleased to be able to help individuals in need, by donating towards a new specially adapted trike for someone with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, among others.
Submissions
As mentioned above, we welcome a wide range of requests. We do not provide donations towards general running costs and therefore we try to fund specific projects, or specific equipment. We invite requests for donations, but we would ask that you consider a specific project/equipment when doing so.
